Those were his words decades ago

When I was still living with my parents

It's now 13years since the 'moving together' happened

The shit taking care of remained a history

Tears on the pillow now filled even the sheets at times

The struggle to cover the nakedness of her family was her priority

These kids needed a role model

Seeing the lazy comfortable man, she took both the titles of being the husband and wife.

The breadwinner she became.

The husband she counted among her children too

As the children gazed at her to provide the house chores gave her no alternative.

This was her job this was her

This was what being a mother of the land entails

Being strong to these kids was painful but she had to.

She could complain all she wants but a legend she'll be in latter days.

A warrior for them

A warrior for her mother land.

Thou she walks bare, her shoes you cant fit

She is more than perfect coz when her man turned

To be irresponsible she tried to fit in his shoes and

Am double sure it was dedicated to her coz

Taking care of her kids and sticking to the marriage vows

Is an achievement not even meme lord cant turn into joke.

Mothers day hers should came twice a week

Coz she has never proven weak

She never lifts weights but she carries her family everywhere

Despite being the sole breadwinner she also ensure the bread

Got zesta when blue band she can’t afford

She is the true definition of a woman

And if she were poetry she would be a perfect piece
