Like Zephyr Breeze

Before I ever saw those eyes      How deeply I loved you.

Before you read my first thought       I found you .

Before you ever dreamt of my lips    I kissed your smile

I meant nothing to you      and you were already my world.

I lived through every breath you inhaled 

till that same breath became a ghost from the past.

Tonight  I exist to live for what was ...

Tomorrow  I live to exist for what will be .

I stopped calling your name 

I  stopped searching your footprints 

I stopped seeking those arms

Stopped believing in stars .

Yet sometimes      in my soul's dusk of night 

through your cold absence        I feel you within me 

Ever so soft      just like the wind 

Like zephyr  breeze which left my cheek      yet never gone.

If tomorrow......


If tomorrow was the day the world ends, how would you handle your current situations
Would you fade comfortably, or are you leaving behind worries and complications like the blind spot of a Riverbed collecting sweet nothings
If today is the brightest light would you go blind
Would you be able to find your way back again
Would you really want to if it meant this is where it all ends
I don't want to go lonely, but I'm not worried
If this is your last chance at something bigger, would you say it's big enough already
Have you ever been too mysterious to hold hands
Is the thought alone too heavy.. Would you follow or would you feel the need to lead me
Have you made amends
If tomorrow is the day the world ends
Would you be seeing yourself for the first time
With big eyes jaded
Have you seen it for what it is lately
Just for the means of conversation tell me how are you sitting
Cross legged waiting on the overactive skies spinning the rhythm or knock kneed tapping nervously
Can you find it in you to feel blessed.. If tomorrow was the day the world ends

If life is short try to live after death
long after you are gone just remain in their minds
to them be one of a kind and leave a mark
R.I.P will be on their lips but in their heart you are reborn

Even if you old be young at heart
treasure everybody like a piece of art
coz for you to be reborn there you have to start
always be generous but never give a tit for tat

EDUCATION MY OPTION

That i can add one plus one thanks to education

its a hammer that makes me build a good reputation

its the backbone and the pillar of our great nation

i treasure it like oxygen, that, i have to mention.

Mama and papa please take me ton school

marriage is not for me in really need that knowledge

its the key to the door leading to a good life 

it may be a muddy pool but in it i wonna dive.

you say its roots are bitter but for sure the fruits are sweet

like dice pineapples the sweetness just drip

then flows like a river carring along a bright future

converting me from a simple to a perfect creature.

we all live ones but education never ends

 just like technology it always trends

its not like fashion it always stands

thats why i crave to have it even if a shred.

Apart from safaricom, education is the better option

in my heart it owns the largest portion 

give me a pen and a paper and i will start a motion 

walking through my course in education, all the way to my promised nation

They laughed at me for walking naked but forgot i was wearing a smile

they said i was broke but forgot i had afforded a smile

they called me a lazy-bone for sleeping for days but forgot i had walked for miles

to achieve what i have i had to remind them, i have paid some bails

Mine have been a long story, that no author has written

a story full of love and hatred, one in a million it has proven

smiling and crying have been me, and with no otherwise jumping from the fire to the oven

just hoping one day that my doors will open

The two coin side of life i have faced, i prefer the note

i have swam to the show only to turn back and see a boat

i jump in jubilition, but forgot the land was dry i now face the drought 

i think life is a chameleon we only have to do with the change
